To install all versions of packettracer except 7.2.2, follow this guidelines: 1. Download the snapshot from this AUR. 2. Tar -zxf the packettracer.tar.gz snapshot (it creates the dir packettracer/ with the PKGBUILD on it). 3. Download the latest packettracer tarball from your Netacad account and copy it into the packettracer/ dir. 4. Create the package with the command makepkg (it creates a packettracer.pkg.tar.xz). 5. Install the package with either makepkg -i or sudo pacman -U packettracer.pkg.tar.xz.

Packettracer 7.2.2 are auto installable via run file, download it from netacad webpage and run it, you don't need this package.

Just an FYI, this pkgbuild works well even with the "no tutorials" version of Packet Tracer. To get it working, simply download the "no tutorials" installation file (PacketTracer601_setup_linux.gz), name it "Cisco Packet Tracer 6.0.1 for Linux (with tutorials)" and change the MD5 to the correct hash. ;)

Dependencies need updated to reflect the qt change. I used: [ "$CARCH" = "x86_64" ] && depends=('lib32-libpng12' 'lib32-qt4') && makedepends=('gcc-multilib') [ "$CARCH" = "i686" ] && depends=( 'libpng12' 'qt4' ) I'm using x86_64 and it worked for me. The dependencies listed by mar04 below are dependencies of 'lib32-qt4'.

http://networkdojo.net/2011/11/08/cisco-packet-tracer-ugly-horrid-fonts/ but instead use symlinks directly (on x86_64 to lib32 dir ofc)
