you're better off contacting her via the github, this comments section is 90% "it's out of date" from people who didn't scroll down before posting

I was unable to build this on a clean system because I forgot to install the base-devel group.

As far as i can tell the missing pkgconf package was the culprit, but i did not verify that.

TLDR: this PKGBUILD is missing some makedepends!

class101 commented on 2022-11-09 22:05 (UTC)

not hanifer imo, this package lacks bumps of pkgrel and peoples has to solve errors

this is the maitainer responsability, pkgrel is not just here to be cool and stay at -1

qt5-styleplugins do that because it's boring to investigate why a qt application suddenly fails

rochr4 commented on 2022-11-08 14:16 (UTC)

I have paru dumping a core with anything but this version, need to investigate.

kyechou commented on 2022-11-08 01:27 (UTC)

Now that v1.11.2 is out, @hanifer you might just update the out-of-date message? It's basically the same as v1.11.1, just doing the job as bumping pkgrel.

archio commented on 2022-11-07 14:17 (UTC)

@hanifer In "Package Actions" there should be an option to unflag it.

hanifer commented on 2022-11-07 12:52 (UTC)

Rebuild paru works. Sorry for any inconvenience. How could I undo the 'flagged out-of-date'?

tomjtoth commented on 2022-11-07 10:36 (UTC)

got the same, this works as a hotfix: sudo pacman -S openssl-1.1

Ekim0789 commented on 2022-11-06 21:10 (UTC)

Anyone having the 'libssl.so.1.1' missing error, you just have to re-build paru and it should work just fine.

fabiscafe commented on 2022-11-06 08:45 (UTC)

@TheBill2001 No. This is a source package. It only depends ob the user if it needs a rebuild or not.

TheBill2001 commented on 2022-11-06 03:38 (UTC)

Should the pkgrel be bumped in situation like this to force a rebuild for those who install the package and unaware of the issue?
