@element8one Due to memory constraints in the update checker upstream PoB had to remove the data file for Glorious Vanity from the update manifest, that may be the issue you're encountering: https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/issues/4570

Work is in progress to resolve that.

Getting error In download callback: Modules/Data.lua:522: attempt to index local 'uncompressedFile' (a nil value) after today's update. This happens when i try to allocate timeless jewel in my skill tree.. also happening when importing the jewel too from account sync

Thank you @bcareil!

@Soulprayer it's a packaging issue. No need to report it upstream.

It has already been reported actually, I forgot to fix it. I'll see what I can do.

I get a LUA error when hitting the about box.

Modules/Main.lua:823: bad argument #1 to 'lines' (changelog.txt: No such file or directory)

stack traceback:

[C]: in function 'PCall'

src/Launch.lua:107: in function <src/Launch.lua:104>

I've found the ELF in /opt/PathOfBuildingCommunity also as the changelog.txt.

Not sure if this is an Linux error or a PoB error, should i ask on github for help/bugfix?

@Bcariel yes I just tested it and switching back to luajit does fix the issue I saw, thank you for the quick response :)

Hi nihilistzsche, thanks for reporting the issue

I meant to switch back to luajit for a while now, but did not get around to do it.

Well, it's done now, and it does fix the issue.

Let me know if that's all going ok for you. The initial switch from luajit to lua51 was to address an out of memory issue. That hopefully got addressed partially by upstream when they made the change to only load the latest tree and partially by the smaller Linux runtime optimizations.

Hi,

I had reported a bug to the Path of Building community team about Legacy Medium Cluster Jewels of curse type not working, and it appears to be an issue with how this AUR package handles the runtime.

The github discussion page for the issue I reported is here: https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/issues/3747

@MithicSpirit Thanks so much, just clean built the package using Yay and there we go!

@PastorJ you shouldn't use built-in updaters for packages and should instead wait for the package itself to update. That said, since this is a -git package, there's no need to wait. Whenever you try to build this package it will automatically pull the latest commit from the git repository; there are some (unofficial) AUR helpers that can automatically check for updates to the git repo when you update your system (e.g. paru).
