This package now enables Cmake Package mode proper. PCSX2 will here on, be installed in the package standard folders /usr/bin, /usr/share, /usr/lib. Following the XDG standard pcsx2's config files remain in .config/PCSX2

In order to ensure a proper and clean upgrade. Uninstall this package COMPLETELY and clear cache before reinstalling.

@xDShot: I found nothing to be updated in .SRCINFO. Can you please be more clear on what has to be updated?

xDShot commented on 2020-05-08 13:33 (UTC)

Update .SRCINFO please so it has proper version parameter and no longer drives aur helpers mad (trizen affected too).

@nathanielcwm: weird behavior of Yay. I suggest cleaning up the package cache or something. But definitely the issue is not on pcsx2-git.

yay keeps on saying that there's an update when there isn't.

Adopting for trying to keep it maintained, although I don't play. If someone plays and wants to step up, feel free to e-mail me.

Disowning, I'm more likely to use Play! in the future because it has a libretro core and it supports x86_64.

Just to note as I noticed the same issue as @Harpy1991 I was able to get the performance of this to be normal by actually specifying the build type, literally all I did was add -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release to cmake, hopefully this gets added to here so that automatic builds on repos actually perform well.

I'm able to compile this with gcc 9.2.0-4 and without harfbuzz.
