@Jake: Thank you for pointing out. I have just updated the upstream master branch.

@manns: Oh I have just realized that they named it
python-dateutil
on PyPI, not dateutil like everywhere else, that is strange: https://pypi.org/project/python-dateutil/ Sorry for causing the confusion, dateutil does not actually exist there so it throws an error now, please fix it.manns commented on 2020-11-24 21:10 (UTC)
@Jake: Thank you for pointing this out. I have added the dateutil dependency to both files in the upstream master branch.

@hilton: Correct, thanks for the notice, I have added it now. The optional
matplotlib
pulls it also as dependency, so it was working with that installed. @manns If you read this by any chance here, dateutil
should be added upstream insetup.py
requires andrequirements.txt
as well.hilton commented on 2020-11-24 12:54 (UTC)
Hello, thanks for the package! It is missing a python-dateutil dependency.

@manns: Could be local leftover files, that are used instead of fresh download? That can cause such issues if the hash changes, but the filename stays the same, like a few weeks ago.

@Jake: Strange, on my other system, it installs all right. Therefore, it may be an issue with my installation. I will look into this next week.

@manns: I can't reproduce this, what checksum do you get instead?
manns commented on 2020-10-09 07:25 (UTC)
Now the build fails because of a checksum error. Could you please fix this?
Jake commented on 2020-09-28 09:29 (UTC)
Thanks @manns for clarification. That's fine, I am just curious if such things happen. Btw: the archive that we download here does not contain any git information (commit hashes, branches, etc) and is just pure source code, the checksum is calculated over the tar.gz. Could be because of different timestamps (ctime/mtime) directly on the files though.
