@SZJX I still think there is some missing dependency issue related to the liborc-0.4 error. I've had similar behaviour on three separate Arch systems: Run RStudio and it throws the aforementioned error. Then install gstreamer0.10-base and it runs fine.

@lillemets Seems that I was able to remove gstreamer0.10-base after having installed it, and it launches fine?

Hi! After last update I got these lines when the package is being built (for English users: cannot stat - no such file or directory):

==> Converting debian package...

Looks like the package does not require gstreamer0.10-base anymore but when that is removed from the system, Rstudio fails to start with the following error:

/usr/lib/rstudio/bin/rstudio: error while loading shared libraries: liborc-0.4.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

pandoc 2.x might cause some issues with rmarkdown. See: https://github.com/rstudio/rmarkdown/issues/1211

@artemklevtsov: try to remove all of the lib* files in that directory (or move them to a bak directory). It works for me that way.

Since Archlinux 32 bits is no more supported, it could be the right time to use the 64 bits deb package for Ubuntu 16 or Debian 9 (I mean this one: https://download1.rstudio.org/rstudio-xenial-1.1.383-amd64.deb) and get definitely rid of gstreamer0.10.

My terminal integration is not working - I tried setting a custom path to the terminal but that did not help. Any idea what I might be missing here?

@gaelic after doing this I can't close an untitled not empty documents.
