After 2023.11, patching is required to build on Arch. This package uses a secondary repo to make managing changes easier. Further details in the readme.

Please observe the following when flagging or commenting:

  • Flag for standard packaging issues, like depends updates and typos.
  • Comment for issues requiring explanation or debugging.
    • Do not paste large blocks of text. Use a pastebin.
    • Consider using the github issue tracker.
    • Problems that are not Arch-specific may be referred further upstream.

Sourcetrail was recently open-sourced: https://www.sourcetrail.com/blog/open_source/ https://github.com/CoatiSoftware/Sourcetrail

Would it be possible to move the current package to some new "sourcetrail-bin" and have the package "sourcetrail" built from source?

Edit: issue 633 was solved. Sourcetrail has been updated to version 2018.4.8

Sourcetrail will be upgraded when this issue https://github.com/CoatiSoftware/SourcetrailBugTracker/issues/633 is resolved.

It would be better to have a way to be notified when they release a new version. I haven't found it.

I think it's broken again :/

They have a 'latest' (i.e. https://www.sourcetrail.com/downloads/latest/linux/64bit) url, better switch to that I guess.

the link you've specified in 'source' is dead, so we get back this error

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://www.sourcetrail.com/downloads/2018.2.18/linux/64bit/ Aborting... :: Unable to build sourcetrail - makepkg exited with code: 1

by pasting it on a browser, one can verify it indeed is broken

on a side note, thanks for maintaining this package.
