Since recently, it builds just fine, but at install time it reports error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) stlink-git: /lib exists in filesystem stlink-git: /lib/udev/rules.d/49-stlinkv1.rules exists in filesystem stlink-git: /lib/udev/rules.d/49-stlinkv2-1.rules exists in filesystem stlink-git: /lib/udev/rules.d/49-stlinkv2.rules exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. It is trying to install files in /lib, instead of /usr/lib.

Hello stevenhoneyman, I've added the option. But I've not tested the new build binaries with any target. Please tell me, if there are any problems.

Please could you add the "--with-gtk" option? It adds a small GUI tool for flashing binaries and looking at the memory of the target. Hardly takes up any extra disk space either: $ ls /bin/stlink-gui -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 79K 2015-05-31 17:46 /bin/stlink-gui*

It seems that this file has been added only a few days after my last update. Therefore I missed it. Should be fixed now. Tell me if there are any other problems.

I found that 49-stlinkv2-1.rules was not installed with this PKGBUILD. Could you fix this? Thanks for updating!

Hello anatolik, that sounds like great news. Thanks for adding it. I think I will personally use the [community] version. Despite that if someone has any problems with this stlink-git package I will try to keep maintaining it for some more time.

FYI: stlink is added to [community] https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/stlink/

I've moved the LICENSE to /usr/share/licenses and updated the package. Thanks for the hint.

Thanks for updating it. LICENSE file should go to /usr/share/licenses, everything else looks fine.

I've updated the package according to the recommendations. Unfortunately, the "make install" did not all the work. It only installed the binaries. I've found no option to install documentation or the configuration files. Therefore they are still copied by the script. Please tell me, if there is a better way.
