Does anyone intend to build the latest update, which was dropped a few days ago? Update Version is 3.0.5-4575. Available in the AUR is surfshark-client 3.0.4.4486-1

Ok so today I went back to Network Manager (with iwd as a backend) and the app connects without issues.

Only the problem with Window init timeout is still there, I have to right click on the icon and select Open Surfshark couple of times before it opens without an error.

Unfortunatelly I can't connect with the gui client: I see the error message:

Network error. Please check your internet connection and try again. 
Error Error invoking remote method 'connect': Error: Error: No internet connection

My internet connection is fine though.

Is there some requirement about network setup?

My network setup is pretty simple, I just use iwd, without NetworkManager or systemd-networkd.

I also have tailscale vpn that works without issues.

I can also connect with the legacy cli tool, and also connected fine with manual wireguard setup and wg-quick, although I had to comment out DNS

Is there any way to get some more verbose logging or debug the issue? I would much prefer to have gui client working.

The surfsharkd service is running but I can't see any logs that would be helpful:

Another issue is when I click the bar icon most of the time the app fails to open with:

Error Could not render Surfshark application.
Error: Window init timeout

I'm using wayland, tried running it with and without wayland specific flags for electron but without success.

The issue returned after updating to 2.4.3, so confusing

EDIT: Never mind. Just had to reboot machine, and get prompted with wallet password again...

Latest version as I write this comment, seems to be 2.4.3.

I found out by trial and error of the URL for curl. Can anyone tell me if the number of the latest version of the .deb is published anywhere?

Since 2.4.1 version that problem I had was gone.

In my case, with version 2.4.1, the client would retry connecting to my selected server 3–4 times. It'd then show me prompt for KDE wallet password (KDE Plasma). Perhaps it had to reconfigure the connections created from older versions, as afterward connecting to any servers would work immediately.

I have the same issue as lcdss reports with the 2.3.5 version of SUrfshark-client.

Anyone having issues to connect after updating to version 2.3.5? I can't connect to any server and the GUI gives me the error:

Error invoking remote method 'connect': Error:
Error: Failed to activate connection! Activating
connection Failed! Add the wg connection first.
Cause: unset
