This package now attempts to build the latest available beta. The version auto updates on build, similar to git packages. There is technically no longer any need for version bumps. However, I plan to check and bump the package approximately once a month.

Mozilla's mach build system has some python dependencies, which version constraints may be in conflict with packages installed in your system, so I recommend building in a clean chroot.

I get makepkg exiting with the following error: /home/mike/pkgbuild/thunderbird-beta/PKGBUILD: line 45: cd: /home/mike/pkgbuild/thunderbird-beta/src/comm-central/obj-i686-unknown-linux-gnu: No such file or directory

Ok, now it _really_ works. It can also be installed side-by-side with [extra]'s thunderbird (the name of the main binary is the package name, 'thunderbird-beta').

Please do not try to build this thing for now since it will only waste your time. The build fails in the beginning of the package() function with the classic "make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop."
