I'm using KDE and there is no Thunderbird icon in the start menu after upgrading to 102.0.3-4. Is this expected?

prettyvanilla commented on 2022-07-27 21:17 (UTC)

The recent changes have left the block in package() installing icons and desktop file commented out, so there's currently no desktop integration anymore, could you please readd this?

I am getting the following error on two different builds trying to upgrade to the latest;

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) thunderbird-appmenu: /usr/lib/thunderbird/distribution/distribution.ini exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

I had a missing dependency. Mabe you can add it to the PKGBUILD.

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'zstandard'

How do I skip the checksum? I entered "SKIP" for every line and yet it always checks it and complains about unity-menubar.patch that doesn't match.

Even with fixed checksums we are still running into an issue:

Hunk #1 succeeded at 161 (offset 4 lines).

Applying patch fix-wayland.patch...

Any thoughts on a betterbird-appmenu?

Updates arrived today from Arch repo amongst more than 700 updates we get ibicui18n.so.71 so a re-install of thunderbird-appmenu-bin 91.9.0-2 now works fine. Thanks!
