Hi community, I did take over maintenance for this package, since I need it for work. It's my first package here on the AUR, so please be forgiving for any mistakes.

If there is a problem with the checksums, flag the package out-of-date at the top of the page. I'll update the PKGBUILD as soon as possible.

My webex is crashing right after entering username doesn't even prompt for credentials.

How can I troubleshoot tried starting from terminal with --debug and --verbose

As a small heads up for the missing chat functionality: This feature is on the roadmap, but there is no clear date set yet, see this post: https://community.cisco.com/t5/webex-meetings-and-webex-app/add-a-chat-function-to-webex-for-linux/m-p/4505535/highlight/true

@jhossbach I was using GNOME 40 when the problem appeared, I updated to GNOME 41 now but I haven't tested it again yet.

In any case I'm using GNOME on X11, not Wayland

@Kastatik the same problem has been reported on the zoom AUR, are you using Gnome 41?

Today I found that I can't see shared content from other participants, has anyone experienced the same problem? Previous versions seemed to work fine for me...

Pretty much unusable within Sway. Search float window with suggestions disappears, other float windows appearing at center of display, after sometime interface became irresponding.

FYI if you get the issue where it freezes when in a call, just run rm -rf ~/.local/share/WebexLauncher

Lol, after this update package started to work (before it crashes just after launch).

If the checksums do not match with the downloaded files, Cisco may have updated the Webex package. Please simply click the "Flag package out-of-date" link at top of the page and I will update the package as soon as possible.
