Please Note: Per best-practices by upstream this package follows the git stable branch. Minor releases do not require a version bump and the PKGBUILD will provide the appropriate version number.

stubdom is still broken.

@lembang: make sure you have all the correct services starting - with 4.5.0 they moved over to officially supporting systemd and so we are now using the upstream versions instead of our own locally maintained ones (which also have different names - check out the message on install for the ones you want to have) I just fired up a hvm domain with my dom0 on 3.19.2

Which tests do you still have in mind? Maybe some of us can help out performing those tests?

Hi Kantras, any news about the updated package or any help which is needed?

Hi Kantras, Can I help with any testing?

kantras commented on 2015-02-12 17:21 (UTC)

Update coming in the next couple of days; system issues and work commitments delayed me being able to run some final tests but will be happening soon.

Hi Kantras, Do you have any idea when you will update the Xen package to v4.5? Do you need help?

I experienced crash with xen and linux 3.18.4 when booting my server crashes and reboots.

Yes, I had the same error and it took me quite some time to fix. For me it had to do with an fix for another issue in the kernel 3.18, which has this as a side effect. Since a downgrade of the kernel is a bit complicated, I have chosen to install the AUR package linux-mainline (Arch Linux). Kernel 3.19 rc4 gave me issues due to the Xen kernel boot parameters not being accepted. However Kernel 3.19 rc5 seems to have resolved all my issues. So my solution/advise is to temporary install the kernel 3.19 rc5 and once the regular kernel 3.19 is released, to revert back to the stable kernel 3.19.
