As of now (2024-22-05) Xen with stubdom doesn't build because of a problem in the imported code. Been this way for about two weeks. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Also, there is a lot of work happening on Xen in my development repo, thanks to @Serus. Check it out at: https://github.com/refutationalist/saur

There's a new error [1] now, but I added the patch at least. [1] https://gist.github.com/4498279

I've tried every combination I could think of, CFLAGS, LIBS, PREPEND_* with librt and lrt, with and without the dash before the word. And it seems I can't get it running. Please someone with more experience with gcc/ld fix this..

luolimao commented on 2013-01-08 10:37 (UTC)

Hmm, yeah. I tried using export, and xen's configure told me to use PREPEND_LIB, PREPEND_INCLUDES, etc. but none of those worked with += -librt or += -lrt. I don't really understand gcc's build process at all (even post-googling), so unless someone else has a solution...

Still no luck. ==> Starting build()... patching file tools/Makefile configure: error: invalid variable name: `LIBS+' ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

luolimao commented on 2013-01-07 22:13 (UTC)

Don't use spaces after LIBS, i.e. try ./configure LIBS+="-librt" PYTHON=/usr/bin/python2

Now it gives the error: ==> Starting build()... patching file tools/Makefile /tmp/xen/PKGBUILD: line 61: LIBS: command not found ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...
