Recommend changing the git source to

https://github.com/GalliumOS/xf86-input-cmt.git

as this package is currently being maintained by Gallium OS (

I'm getting an error when attempting to install
[joe@new-host-3 xf86-input-cmt]$ makepkg -sri ==> Making package: xf86-input-cmt 2.0.5-2 (Tue Dec 15 11:24:33 EST 2015) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Installing missing dependencies... error: target not found: libevdevc ==> ERROR: 'pacman' failed to install missing dependencies.
I've tried installing the dependencies myself but still get the same error. Do I need to setup something to make them work since they aren't getting installed with the AUR package?

use xf86-input-cmt-git for this to work with xorg 1.18. Remember to update your conf files after (# cmt-post-install install)

joebonrichie commented on 2015-11-18 19:20 (UTC)

doesn't work with xorg 1.18 at the moment

Hi, thanks for the report. You are right it is missing, but the touchpad is working fine, i'll remove the symlink in xf86-input-cmt-setup for now and add it back when upstream .debs are updated.

Hey! Thank you muchly for this package. However, a strange issue has turned up for me; 40-touchpad-cmt.conf from the upstream package is missing from /usr/share/xf86-input-cmt, and xf86-input-cmt-setup references it in a symlink in your X config. I'm about to try manually dropping it into place. Is it possible that something regressed in the switch to the .deb package?

That's a fair point. Upstream was broken for me but since the change to .deb's it's working so thanks for that!
