@w1ntermute, Yes, remove chromium-codecs-ffmpeg.... and try again with https://www.youtube.com/html5.

I have both this package and chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-nonfree-bin installed, but I'm still getting the message "Your browser does not support HTML5 video with our site." from YouTube. Any ideas?

@Det, thanks again for testing.
Yeah, I just removed linpng12 nothing else.
Det commented on 2012-03-15 16:56 (UTC)
Arranged and checked.
Nothing to break anyway, if you just removed libpng12 from the dependencies.

@Det, thanks; I don't use this AUR these days hence am more dependent on users' feedback to maintain it.
Plz arrange to check the updated PKGBUILD.
Det commented on 2012-03-15 16:43 (UTC)
Doesn't require libpng12 anymore, btw.

@tulio, for non-free codecs you also need to install https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=32085 or a similar package.

I installed this but http://www.youtube.com/html5 says my browser doesn't support "Video tag", "h.264", and "WebM". Something I forgot to do, maybe?

Is there any reason why it use http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-continuous/ instead of http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/ ???
