After today's `pacman -Syu' upgrade Chromium icons shows properly in KDE taskbar.

i think it has nothing to do with new logo; I experienced the problem before the logo was changed.

while I still have no clue I can verify that the product_logo_48.png is in opt/chromium-browser as it should be but its not being used.... wierd.
could it be something google did since they are changing logos?? like transitioning but not finished yet? but you would think if its as easy as just adding another png with a different name like product_logo_49.png they would have done it......
Im sure better people then me will figure it out.
just figure I would post more info on the issue.

on kde4 I too am experiencing the same problem of no icon.... it is showing an X in my tray like others have described. thanks.
maybe its because of chromiums icon changing to the new style??? and theres no proper linking to the image... though Im speculating as I have no clue how you would fix it.

@cinan, Sorry, I'm unable repeat/test, since I don't use KDE and, or Gnome; BTW, all icons are shown correctly in XFCE4's taskbar here.
<deleted-account> commented on 2011-03-19 12:43 (UTC)
the problem still persists.

well, in taskbar in KDE is shown wrong icon (as you can see on the picture I attached). I didn't changed pkgbuild. With chromium package from official Archlinux repo there's no problem (correct(/opt/chromium-browser/chromium-browser.png) icon is shown in taskbar).
