Hello,
Does anyone know is there a way to enable H.264 video codec in chromium snapshot?
https://www.youtube.com/html5 page says that this browser doesn't supports MSE & H.264 codecs so I can't view live streams at YouTube using chromium snapshot.
Thanks

Hi,
You should remove the line 13 from the chromium-snapshot-bin script.
Thanks for the package. Keep on

Dropped i686, as it hasn't been updated since May 18th (51.0.2684.0, r382086).
You should be on extra/chromium instead (52.0.2743.85).

It's a manually updateable latest nightly of Chromium, the base of Chrome.

What would be the approach to get non-free codecs to work in chromium-snapshot-bin?

Anyone else get a page crash on video fullscreen? Usually happens a few times and then begins working correctly.

After discover there's no more build of chromium continuos, I switched to this package.
I solved the problem of API by adding this to your chromium-snapshot-bin script:
export GOOGLE_API_KEY=AIzaSyDwr302FpOSkGRpLlUpPThNTDPbXcIn_FM
export GOOGLE_DEFAULT_CLIENT_ID=413772536636.apps.googleusercontent.com
export GOOGLE_DEFAULT_CLIENT_SECRET=0ZChLK6AxeA3Isu96MkwqDR4
I took the value from chromium package of arch.
