Hello, My ~/.cache/ is in RAM and it's deleted on every reboot :)

@mozo Some other ideas, try to launch kbuildsycoca5 or remove ~/.cache/icon-cache.kcache from a tty before launch your graphical session.
And an other idea is the theme... I use breeze.

Hello, -Sy octopi doesn't help. I can't try with a new profile for I'm on a vacation and I access my PC remotely but it's a fresh installation and I don't think it's a problem with it. I'll try in a week :)

@mozo what's your DE? In the 0.9.0 it seem to have a patch for this. But all my test without it work well. I'll try with your DE if this is required...

Changes with octopi 0.10.0, 0.11.0, ++ :
Now you need to choose the notifier package.
For Plasma/KDE : use octopi-notifier-framework
For other : use octopi-notifier-qt5
