I was wondering if the rust-nightly-bin could be the source of this error.

Invoking makepkg while skipping checksums (I'll try again in a while with the updated PKGBUILD) had the build stopping with the following.

Ciao

Sorry, forgot to run updpksums. I didnt try rust-nightly-bin, guess trying would be the best thing to do here :) Btw, I'm not running into the issue with os-prober anymore so I guess that has been fixed in the meantime.

Hi, is rust-nightly-bin suitable for building this package?

Yes, I have os-prober installed.

makepkg stops with this error?

It seems the actual issue is the os-prober, not grub-mkconfig. @keren_sky do you also use os-prober?

For me grub-mkconfig works just as expected. Do you get any error messages?

Yes, I do get this as well. Im not sure which command causes to exit early though, do you?

Hi, does anyone see 'grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg' exiting prematurely with this package installed? I reverted to the vanilla coreutils and was able to update the list of kernels. Thanks.

Very nice, gonna do the changes later. Thanks for keeping track of this :)

With the new version cat is somehow broken for me (I've already reported this here).

But with 0.0.5 the bugs with tr, echo and wc are fixed. So this tools can be replaced by the Rust versions again.
