@tomaspinho, please don't remove this package from AUR or github yet. My wifi is not working with the rtw88_8821ce driver in kernel 5.9.1.arch1-1 because RFE2 is not supported.

Yes, Linux 5.9 should have support for 8821ce. Although some variants are not supported yet: https://marc.info/?l=linux-wireless&m=159981742905028&w=4

Is the official driver going to be implemented in Linux 5.9? If not, does anyone know when it will be? I really appreciate the work put into maintaining this third party driver, but it's inevitably a lot more inconvenient than being baked into the kernel.

@senorsnor, thank you! It worked.

@hnorgist: this has been fixed in https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce/issues/148 on June 22. If you re-install this package it will pull the latest version from git. This fixed the error for me.

Driver stopped working after system upgrade. The issue is exactly the same issue this guy has - https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/67596
Downgrading the kernel helps for a moment https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Downgrading_packages#Downgrading_the_kernel
