agm28011997 I think you should give something of value to the work that tomaspinho has done, since creating this controller and sharing it with the community is a great job... success!

It's queued now, so.. if you want to test, patch the kernel and test it now.
I am happy for you that you will have rtw88 and not this shitty driver xD...

I am asking you because of that link @blackhole, but i think he is mistaken since I haven't found any commit about the support for this shitty garbage network card ( I hope you get some luck) Rtw88 is working very well for me in the rtl 8822BE( i changed my laptop because so many things.. not only for this shitty card)

I have tested only on 5.6.4-rt3-1-rt realtime kernel. I am using systemd-networkd and wpa_supplicant. All packages are up-to-date

@blackhole what Linux kernel do you have ? And how did you update your WiFi? XD
I mean the version of the kernel. Fully version
blackhole commented on 2020-05-01 01:21 (UTC)
In my Lenovo Yoga 530 fully updated WiFi will not work without this package.

@Namarrgon May we have to add options to the headers dependence.
Other thing is that it's appearing to be working with the rtw88 mainlined driver in kernel.. it0s has no sense since I haven't seen any ccommint but.. please, give it a try, delete all the packet and reboot to see if you have the wifi working.

hello how are you, I wanted to ask you about a problem that I have presented with the controller in manjaro ... what happens is that when I suspend my laptop the interface stays in down mode, I try to upload it again with the command "sudo ip link set wlp2s0 up" but I get the answer operation not permitted
Namarrgon commented on 2020-01-18 18:42 (UTC)
This shouldn't depend on "linux-headers". It makes it impossible to install it for any other kernel other than 'linux' without forcing the user to install the "linux*" packages. Making sure that the appropriate headers are installed is the admin's job.
