If you want a clean build please make shure to use a clean chroot to build. the issues here a mostly build issues that happen with the stock build too.

Has anyone else the problem that bookmarks are not shown anymore? Stock firefox works as expected. Nevertheless, firefox-kde-opensuse gave me a lot issues and trouble the last months/years so I am switching to stock.

yes, please remove that unity-menubar.patch. It does not work anyway in Plasma.

Why the switch from tarball to hg clone? Cloning the firefox repo takes *forever*...

ShalokShalom commented on 2017-06-17 09:35 (UTC)

for what is this unity-menubar.patch when there is no Unity in Arch?

Thaodan commented on 2017-06-16 19:12 (UTC)

there's already an issue about this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1362771

Thaodan commented on 2017-06-16 17:12 (UTC)

the problem only occures when compiling with -mtune=native.

I updated the pkg, the xpcshell issue is still there. Maybe it depends on buildsettings the arch pkg builds with gcc 7.1

tyler274 commented on 2017-06-07 00:34 (UTC)

makepkg always gets stuck on the precompile_startupcache step in the the install phase on GCC 7.1, is able to complete with gcc-5

there should be something with /build in the strings their.
