If you have issues with this package visit gitlab and read the readme first.

on an unrelated note, which kmozillahelper do you guys use? kmozillahelper-kf5 is orphaned and kmozillahelper is very buggy for me (crashes if i try to change a setting, sometimes freezes on startup, and if i have image previews on, crashes entire browser) also as stated before, opening the downloads link, then clicking on the "open folder" icon crashes firefox

looks like to build 51.0x you will need both rust and cargo packages, successfully built after adding them

no go on 51.0 for me force-cargo-build env CARGO_TARGET_DIR=. RUSTC=/usr/bin/rustc RUSTFLAGS='-C debuginfo=1' : build --release --manifest-path /home/user/temp/firefox-kde-opensuse/src/firefox-51.0/toolkit/library/rust/Cargo.toml --target=x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu --verbose -- env: ‘:’: No such file or directory dont know if it's my settings or a patch needed

@gustawho now it's at 51.0.1 from the same page i am currently seeing if 51.0 builds in PKGBUILD switch version to 51.0, patchrev to _patchrev=3604ed712e16, regeneate md5's, remove references to $_patchurl/mozilla-flex_buffer_overrun.patch then build

Hello, while building the package I came through the following issue: DEBUG: configure:21228: checking for fontconfig >= 2.7.0 DEBUG: configure:21235: checking _FONTCONFIG_CFLAGS DEBUG: configure:21240: checking _FONTCONFIG_LIBS DEBUG: configure:21341: checking for pixman-1 >= 0.19.2 DEBUG: configure:21348: checking MOZ_PIXMAN_CFLAGS DEBUG: configure:21353: checking MOZ_PIXMAN_LIBS DEBUG: configure:22352: checking for icu-i18n >= 50.1 DEBUG: configure:22359: checking MOZ_ICU_CFLAGS DEBUG: configure:22364: checking MOZ_ICU_LIBS DEBUG: configure: error: cannot determine icu version number from uvernum.h header file ERROR: old-configure failed *** Fix above errors and then restart with\ "make -f client.mk build" make[2]: *** [/tmp/yaourt-tmp-lsblk/aur-firefox-kde-opensuse/src/firefox-50.1.0/client.mk:377: configure] Error 1 make[2] : on quitte le répertoire « /tmp/yaourt-tmp-lsblk/aur-firefox-kde-opensuse/src/firefox-50.1.0 » make[1]: *** [/tmp/yaourt-tmp-lsblk/aur-firefox-kde-opensuse/src/firefox-50.1.0/client.mk:390: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-lsblk/aur-firefox-kde-opensuse/src/firefox-50.1.0/obj-x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/Makefile] Error 2 make[1] : on quitte le répertoire « /tmp/yaourt-tmp-lsblk/aur-firefox-kde-opensuse/src/firefox-50.1.0 » make: *** [client.mk:168: build] Error 2 As far as I can understand I'm probably not the only one having this problem. Can you solve it or should I fill a bug report to OpenSUSE? Thank you.

@novwho yep, happens every time, download -> finish -> open container -> crash i dont get any errors in console either when it happens

novwho commented on 2016-12-20 18:17 (UTC)

Does browser immediately crash when clicking Open Containing Folders for anyone else? Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Installed fine. Will try to gather logs.

I've just uploaded the latest version (50.1.0), both i686 and x86_64, to my personal repository: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Unofficial_user_repositories#gustawho
