The build failure is known. Basically https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/44421. Downgrade your glibc if you really want to build.

Fails to build for me: See http://dpaste.com/15FW5ZW

I have disabled the pkgver hack.

@ishitatsuyuki shouldn't it be possible to set llvm to 4.0 or earlier and then remove the epoch? Because isn't that why the epoch is there or not?

SolarAquarion commented on 2017-07-19 19:15 (UTC)

ishitatsuyuki it seems that "rls-git" is the problem for some reason. I even have the problem with it via pacaur.

ishitatsuyuki commented on 2017-07-18 11:36 (UTC)

SolarAquarion: it's your helper's fault. Ignore in the config in the case.

SolarAquarion commented on 2017-07-18 11:22 (UTC)

@ishitatsuyuki Well, bauerbill is telling me to continually update rust-git. Instead of stopping the package automatically, the AUR helper is doing it for me. Like it is trying to get up to "3:...."
